SB 1698 passed unanimously through the Senate yesterday and is headed to the Governor’s desk for approval. Florida needs support from the entire industry to secure a veto!Â

South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) has issued an updated guidance on hemp-infused beverages and is moving along in its legislative process.Â

The recently passed HB 1322 has raised concerns as it received near-unanimous support in the House. This bill threatens to eliminate all minor cannabinoids and establish a Total THC standard for hemp and its derivatives.
The legislation mentioned above bears striking resemblance to the prohibitionist language passed in Florida and could lead to substantial economic consequences throughout the hemp industry.
